WHAT IS RIDE 4 RELIEF?

 

Ride 4 Relief is a nationwide tour of press conferences taking place in police in fire departments focused on PTSD in an effort to reduce first responder suicide and increase health and wellness support within the departments of our police and fire fighters across the United States of America.

 

Jeff Shepard recently made world news last summer during JUNE PTSD Awareness month as he rode his motorcycle from Seattle to Virginia telling his story in every major city on the way.

 

The tour helps to educate our communities within and around those who risk their lives daily to keep us safe.

 

With an intimate approach, Shepard works with each department in every city to coordinate content shared with the media about the efforts departments are making to be leaders in advocating for PTSD support.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CROSS COUNTRY TOUR

Ride 4 Relief is  a non profit organization dedicated to creating awareness around first responders who are often faced with unfathomable experiences as their profession is often putting them in the line of crisis. RIDE 4 RELIEF is a nationwide tour that highlights police and fire departments in every city, giving them a platform in the media to share the efforts they are making to nurture their officers. Our goal is to shed light 

The project RIDE 4 RELIEF recently completed a successful cross-country tour and attracted a landslide of publicity and is now embarking on a UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CROSS COUNTRY TOUR. Jeff will be traveling on his motorcycle visiting with police and fire departments during JUNE/ JULY which is PTSD AWARENESS MONTH, with an emphasis on first responders living with PTSD.

This partnership has created many media opportunities for Jeff to be a face for first responders who have been diagnosed with PTSD and to highlight how departments are nurturing the health and mental wellness of their first responders. The media has made a massive impact with their ability to reach a greater audience and is educating our citizens and supporting the forward thinking of departments striving to achieve successful outcomes for their officers. By visiting a different state each day we create an extraordinary momentum in the media and among departments collectively.

Together with the help of generous sponsors we are making a big impact with our heroes NATIONWIDE who risk their own lives every day to keep us safe often times at the expense of their own mental and physical well being.

Media Strategy

MEDIA STRATEGY The ride will be a USA cross-country tour that we will be visiting law enforcement agencies and fire departments across the country showcasing how different departments support PTSD Awareness.  We will be creating a cross country media campaign on a local level by reaching out to network affiliates in each city making direct contact with ABC TV, NBC TV, CBS TV and FOX TV as well as connecting them on a national level around PTSD awareness month as well as including all local newspapers, radio and magazines. In addition our strategic campaign will include the categories of motorcycle publications, auto publications, military publications, law enforcement publications as well as news and lifestyle. Our strategic main stream media campaign will be partnered with a comprehensive social media campaign which we will be nurturing and collectively sharing with a massive audience through the many popular brands and partnerships who are aligned with and supporting our cause. Seasoned publicist Lori Pacchiano who is assisted by a small team of educated publicists is managing our PR Campaign. Lori has 20 years experience in managing very high profile projects, athletes and celebrities.
